Susi Art LLC

Since 2015 I’ve worked full time as a member of the design team for Susi Art LLC, an independent custom apparel shop located in Braintree Massachusetts. In my time there I’ve had the pleasure of working both collaboratively and independently on a number of projects. These have included numerous brand image campaigns, social media posts, and even the recent redesign of the North Quincy high school mascot. If you’re in need of a new design or company merchandise, feel free to check out some of my work here, and contact us at susiart.com

Logo design

A good business grows & changes over time, and so should their logo. Whether a company is well established, or just starting out, a fresh brand image is always worth considering. These are a few of my favorite logo designs & redesigns that I’ve done in recent years.

The “new yakoo”

This project had to be handled very carefully in order to preserve the spirit of the original North Quincy Yakoo, while still giving the overall mascot a much needed update. By collaborating with Dr. Yacubian, the man who inspired the original Yakoo, we were able to come up with this new design, as well as several variations for special promotions and school events.

EDDR (Education Data Done Right)

For some years now I have had the pleasure of working as a freelance designer for a team of talented data analysts to help produce and launch their series of instructional books; EDDR (Education Data Done Right).

I can honestly say it has been a delight to work with this team, and I look forward to doing more to help EDDR grow in the future.

"For more than ten years, Nick has worked and studied in the fields of graphic design and digital illustration. In that time, he has both collaborated on, and led, various creative endeavors; ranging from corporate ad campaigns and logo design, to greeting cards and outdoor murals. As a full-time designer and lead illustrator for Susi Art LLC, a custom apparel shop in Braintree Massachusetts, Nick has tackled numerous corporate and small business design challenges. He also continues to take on illustration and design commissions through his website (nickmaskell.com). In addition to designing both volumes of the EDDR book series and website elements, Nick has done freelance work for several of the authors, including designing elements for websites, reports, and presentations. Not only is this guy super talented, he’s kind of a dream to work with."
